.:Visitors:.

We were lucky to have some visitors the beginning of July: Dani and her kids! My kids were beyond excited to see their cousins, and it just wasn't even close to long enough.

We spent one day at Jungle Jim's. It turned out to be half price for the summertime, which was a nice surprise! The kids all had a blast riding on the little rides. It was a great introduction to rides for Remi and Harper.

Rem got on willingly, but obviously a bit nervously.

But then she was fine!

More nerves

And then more being fine!

Sisters!

It was a fun afternoon. Then we came back to our house to bbq and play!

The next morning was Chick-fil-a for breakfast with Gramzee and Grandpa Paul.

After breakfast, we headed down to Temple Square and spent some time wandering around. Remi and Harper were convinced that Jesus was hiding in the statue. They were very disappointed when I told them that was not the case. It was actually pretty sweet!

Remi was very happy about having her picture taken in the conference center.

After that, we hit up City Creek for some lunch and shopping.

Work it, girl!

On the way home, we stopped in at 7-11 for free Slurpee day! It was very bright.

We spent our evening playing at Jay and Evie's house.

Dani's trip down happened to coincide with Theo's baby blessing, which was perfect. And Ben and Sharon decided to make the trip down too, so it was a really fun day of cousins!

It was a fun day of cousins for me, too! My cousins Shauna and Natalie came to the blessing. It was fun to catch up with them.

Cousin picture. Jabes loved it.

With Gramzee and Grandpa Paul

Sibling picture - just missing Alli!

Almost all of the originals

It was a really fun weekend! We were so glad we got to spend so much time with family!

.:Summertime:.

We have just had the most delightful summer so far already. And it is going much too quickly! How is July already halfway over? We have been making the most of our free time, and spending lots of time with our friends. It has been so great!

The girls have been participating in the library's summer reading program. We have gone a few time to pick out new books, and they fill out a chart for the library. I also have a summer reading BINGO that they fill out as well. It's been lots of fun!

We spent a rainy day at McDonald's with our friends, Sam, James, and Lauren. I watched all three of them when they were babies!

Splash pad with our Tuckett friends!

Chubby baby feet

More splash pad with our friend Emerson.

Picnic and movie nite with Luke and Logan.

Popsicle!

Going to see Cinderella (finally!) at the dollar theater.

Splash pad and park with Luke and Logan. Bonus face painting there! A young woman in our stake had set up shop there and so we let her do some face painting on the kids.

Splash pad yet again with Reece's friends, Emeri and Lucy (Braxton left before picture time!)

We spend just about every evening outside with our neighborhood buddies, often until between 9-10 p.m. We live in THE BEST neighborhood, and I'm so grateful for all of the wonderful neighbors that we have!

Costco run with the Selins

Baby buddies!

We've been to the reservoir a couple of times with our friends. This trip was with the Tucketts and the Petersons.

Action shot!

Jabes has eaten his fair share of sand each time we've gone.

The first half of the summer has been so great! We can't wait to see what the second half has in store for us!
