.:New Years Eve:.

It is fun having our kids a little bit older now so that we can do fun things for the holidays as a family that they can participate in. We opted for a quiet evening in for New Years this year. We started off with some fondue desserts, which the girls all thought was pretty fun! They loved dipping in their different things into the chocolate; who wouldn’t??

After we enjoyed our chocolate, we had orange julius’. They were delicious as usual. I’m pretty sure I could eat those every nite of the week.

After we had ojs, we got the popcorn bags out, and enjoyed some popcorn while watching a movie. Popcorn and orange julius just go together!

We ended our evening with a little dance party to the credits of the movie. We’ll take an opportunity to dance!

.:Christmas Day:.

Our girls’ ages are so fun for holidays. Reece and Remi totally understood Santa, and were beside themselves with excitement! I wasn’t sure they were even going to go to sleep Christmas Eve, but Santa really needed them to!

Santa did come and left quite the haul.

We came out and did stockings first, of course! The girls loved all of their little goodies. Santa tried to do some bigger, nicer things this year instead of just a bunch of stuff from the dollar section. I think it was definitely the better route to go!

Then it was time for presents! The girls started off first with some gifts that were all three of them: some puzzles and games.

After that, we got to the gifts just for each of the girls. Reece and Rem were both excited to get some Frozen things (of course!) and Rem also got a new Jessie, which was a big hit. Harper got a fun ball pit and some train tracks, as well as the klip klop stable – which is a new favorite toy!

It was really just delightful to spend our morning at home, opening presents at our own pace. We opened them one at a time, which I know not all people like to do, but it is fun to see what everyone else gets and prolong the fun! We had a great Christmas!

Daddy also got the girls each their own huge bag of popcorn, which went over great with our popcorn loving kids! He also picked out some new Frozen jammies for the girls, too. Another hit!

We spent the rest of the day having brunch with Gary, Em, and the cousins, and then played with all of our new things! Perfect way to spend Christmas!

.:Christmas Eve:.

We spent Christmas Eve out in Grantsville. The girls had a great time playing with their cousins, Granny, and Em.

The kids all decorated ice cream cones to be Christmas trees.

Then of course, presents! After all of the presents from Gramzee and Grandpa Paul, plus what they got on Christmas Eve from Granny and Grandpa Ken, Santa didn’t even need to come!

.:Christmastime Is Here:.

I absolutely love Christmas. The sounds, the smells, the happiness, the giving – everything about it is just so wonderful! And of course, our girls love it, too.

We love celebrating with our friends all month long, and we started off with our good buddies Luke and Logan. We decorated sugar cookies, with is a Christmas staple of course!

And then we exchanged gifts. We sure love Luke and Logan! Our kids just all get along really well, it makes it so easy to get together!

IMG_4216

We had another little Christmas celebration with all of our little girlfriends, too. Gift exchanging happened again!

IMG_4280

We sure love this little group of gals – we’ve been so lucky to have so many fun little friends over the years.

And then – you guessed it – sugar cookies! You can never have too many, especially around the holidays.

Remi had a pre-school Christmas party with her little joy school buddies. Sadly, most of them were sick that day, but luckily Harper got to tag along to bring the numbers up. We had fun building a snowman, decorating cookies, and doing a gift exchange.

Reece’s pre-school did a little show for the parents, and sang some songs for us. It was pretty cute! I can't get the video to upload, but take my word for it - darling!

We also did some sledding. Reece and Harper loved it. Remi did not. Sounds about right!

Reece and Rem also enjoyed playing in the snow in the backyard. And I enjoyed having a fence so I could stay warmly inside!

And lastly, we enjoyed going to church in our Christmas dresses. The girls looked totally adorable in their coordinating dresses from Gramzee and Grandpa Paul!

Gotta get some posing in there!
