On with the fun of our week at Sunriver!
As is the norm at Sunriver, there is lots of bike riding. We had quite the crew of adult riders, kid riders, bike trailers, and attached seats. We were able to get around pretty well, and the kids in the bike trailers were able to switch it up and ride with different people frequently.
And sometimes bike riding is just tiring!
We often rode to the lodge to get drinks for the adults, and let the kids play on the grass there.
We decided to have an un-birthday party for the kids while we were there. We drew names – just like at Christmas – and had a party with cupcake decorating and presents! It’s always a good time for both of those things!
We only made it to the pool once while we were there, and didn’t really stay too long. But it was fun while it lasted!
One morning we went to the park. The kids had a great time playing on the playground equipment. We also had a bunch of balls and bats, so we had fun having a little sports morning.
And as usual, the girls had our Favorite Things party. It is one of my most favorite traditions! We went out for appetizers at a Mexican restaurant, got pedicures, and did a little shopping. Pretty much perfect, and we all had great gifts to share with each other. We also threw in a mini baby shower for Sharon while we were out!
Aside from all of our fun activities, it was just lots of fun cousin time, hanging out!
It was a super fun week, and always goes by much too quickly! Can’t wait to do it again next summer!
