What are some of your favorite reads, or what are you planning to read this summer?

I saw a movie called "Not Without My Daughter" and it was amazing. It is a story of an American woman being married to a Iranian man for 7 years in the States. They go visit his family and things take a turn for the worse. It is based on a true story, and there is the book. The title is the same name and it is by Betty Mahmoody. I am waiting for it at the library, but my mom read it and said it was excellent!

I have the above mentioned book but I think it's in Dutch? That doesn't help you, sorry. It's def good though. I really am liking Dean Hughes novels right now, like the one we read for book club. Children of the Promise and such. Well, you've probably already read those right?

For an easy, quick read: "Enchantress From The Stars", by Sylvia Engdahl. Loved it. We're currently reading "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel for my book club. Not sure what I think yet, though.
