What was I doing at 6:00 this morning? Helping Josh push the Accord out of the driveway so that he could take the Pathfinder to work. Accord won't start.
Seriously....when does it end?!?!
We've been so happy not having car payments, but I guess the trade off is the upkeep for having older cars. It doesn't really make sense to buy a car when we're about to start living on loans, but that option is sure looking pretty nice right about now!

When our reliable Civic's A/C broke, we knew we had to get a new car when I was 9 months preggers, wasn't about to drive our baby home from the hospital in the summer heat. Bummer cause we had just paid it off the year before. We still kept it as Adam's commuter car though.....and in the meantime have put in a whole new exhaust system, new windshield and new tires. Still haven't put in a new A/C ($2500!), or new trailer arm bearings ($500!) for that matter. As long as it's not broken down by the side of the road... Seriously, I swear that as soon as you have paid 'm off, you get the major repair payments.....

Old cars are the best/worst. Jefferson's subaru is still kicking, though we have had to seal the sunroof off because of a leak we weren't about to pay to get fixed, you can't lock the doors, and there are quite a number of squeaks to it. At least that means no car payments. I hope yours isn't a major fix!
Not fun...I'm thinking it's just a loose nut or bolt, hoping I mean.

aww! Im sorry girly. We were in that same boat a few months back w/ our chrysler that was just very done. I hope it all works out, car troubles r never fun =(
